In Wednesday night’s live semi-final the lead judge let fans know which act he’d be backing when it comes to the wild card and it wasn’t Jack Higgins.
Despite many wanting to see Jack, Simon told fans he was ”rooting for” Vadik and the Bear and again in Thursday night’s show the mogul hinted that he knows which act he wants to go through.
“I know exactly who I think should be in the as our wild card,” said a confident Simon at the start of the last live semi-final. “We’re not going to agree but we shall find out later.”
Simon will join Alesha Dixon, Amanda Holden and David Walliams when they discuss who will return at the end of the night.
Will Simon get his way and see his son Eric’s favourite act return?
On Wednesday night Simon shared a heartwarming video of of Eric dancing along to the unusual Britain’s Got Talent act .
Taking to Twitter the lead BGT judge posted a video of his two-year-old son dancing along to their Tuesday night performance.
The caption to his 12.6m following simply read: “Eric’s favourite act!”
After their latest performance, Cowell hailed Vadik and the Bear “incredible”, before saying that he’d want to see them again… at his son’s party.
“You are my favourite act,” said Cowell. “That was incredible… In eight months time Eric is going to have his eighth birthday party and you are booked.”
While Alesha Dixon wasn’t so keen as the singer and presenter described the act as a “nightmare”.
“One, that was a nightmare, this is a real nightmare… I had a run-in with a polar bear once, that’s what the problem is,” Alesha said.
Expect Vadik & The Bear will be next seen at Simon’s house when little Eric turns three.
